Epic Games hat heute bekanntgegeben, dass der Battle Royale-Modus von Fortnite für PlayStation®4, Xbox One, PC und Mac kostenlos erhältlich ist. Der Battle Royale-Modus ist ein PvP-Modus für 100 Spieler, die auf einer gewaltigen Karte abgesetzt werden, auf der sie ihre Bau- und Kampffertigkeiten einsetzen, um als letzter Spieler übrig zu bleiben.
Das Update bringt zudem das neue Team-Play, zwei neue Waffen und weitere Anpassungen. Die Details über dieses Update sowie Details kommender Updates wurden letzte Woche in einem Blog-Post der Entwickler bekannt gegeben.

PlayStation 4- und Xbox One-Spieler finden das kostenlose Fortnite Battle Royale-Angebot in den digitalen Shops ihrer Plattformen. PC- und Mac-Spieler können sich auf www.fortnite.com anmelden und es von dort kostenlos herunterladen.
Fortnites PvE-Modus „Weltrettung“ bleibt ein Teil des bezahlten Early Access. 2018 wird er gratis spielbar sein.
