Game Informer – 8,5/10
In a genre where it can be hard to differentiate yourself, Project Cars makes its mark. It’s not as strong as it could be in all areas, but Slightly Mad Studios‘ attention to detail and racing chops make the game a contender.

Softpedia – 8,5/10
Project Cars is a great racing simulator with a huge amount of cars, tracks, and options to customize. While newcomers might not appreciate the heavy-handed driving aids or get overwhelmed by the staggering number of things to experience, it’s worth the commitment.

PC Gamer – 8,3/10
It’s crystal clear that Slightly Mad knows what its hardcore audience wants, and I’m really happy that it stuck to its guns in order to deliver it. That’s pretty rare nowadays, especially when your vision comes at the expense of wider audience appeal.

Hardcore Gamer – 8/10
Outside of its cluttered user interface, everything about Project CARS seems to be thoughtfully designed, which should be a testament to having the power of the community assisting development. Polyphony Digital and Turn 10 Studios should be on the look-out, a new challenger has approached.

Playstation Universe – 8/10
Issues with A.I hold it back from greatness, but Project CARS is on the right track with its sandbox career, community-focused online experience and A-grade car handling mechanics.

GamesRadar – 7/10
When it works, Project CARS is unbelievably good. But overly-aggressive AI, odd collision physics, imperfect pad controls and several bugs mean it’s just shy of greatness.
