Auch wenn sich der Nostalgie wegen viele auf die neueste Ausgabe von Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater gefreut haben, umso mehr verderben einem die ersten Wertungen die Vorfreude. Englisch sprachige Seiten brachten jetzt ihre ersten Urteile hervor und die fallen ernüchternd bis vernichtend aus. Auf metacritic hat das Spiel einen Score von unter 30%. Allerdings warten viele Seiten auch erst auf die von Activision angekündigten Patches, da das aktuell Spiel unter enorm vielen Bugs leiden soll, wie viele Videos aus dem Netz bereits belegen.
